If there were ever any two people who had the most impeccable and unique sense of style it would be Julie and Tyler. I fell in love with these two about a year ago over wine/snacks at Le Pain Quotidien. Julie’s bubbly personality and Tyler’s kind and warm demeanor are infectious and I was thrilled when they asked me to photographer their Congressional Country Club wedding.
I quickly learned that while their venue may have been traditional, their personal style and touches definitely were not! Julie runs a DIY/style blog called Jefferson Lane and is a huge fan of the Austin based designer Katie Kime who is famous for her bold patterns and prints. She had Katie Kime do custom banana leaf print bridesmaid dresses for all of her bridesmaids and even had a love seat that had been in the family upholstered in the same fabric for her sweetheart table.
Tyler looked dashing in a blue velvet suit jacket (with shoes to match!) and the wedding reception was filled with quirky little touches like a stuffed flamingo couple cake topper.
B. Floral provided the amazing bouquets and arrangements for the tables and Alexandra Nesterak Events pulled everything together flawlessly!
Julie and Tyler – I am so so thrilled for both of you. You are two of my favorite people I’ve worked with in 2017 and I just love your enthusiasm for life and down to earth natures. I can’t wait to see more of your adventures from your first year of marriage!
