From Michelle’s very first email to me I knew that I was going to LOVE her and Andy. I almost didn’t get to shoot their wedding because of a conflict in dates – but as luck would have it Michelle and Andy ended up going with a different venue on the only date I still had left in October. I think it was meant to be!
Andy and Michelle are two of the kindest, most genuine and easy going people I know. And on top of that we have so much in common! We both love to travel (Andy proposed to Michelle in Las Vegas!), talk about business, eat cookie butter out of the jar and Andy is even a personal trainer! If you missed the news, I’ve been studying for my certification to be a personal trainer (don’t worry – I won’t be giving up wedding photography!) and Andy has been giving me some great advice along the way. We’re even going to be able to train together for a session which I’m really excited for!
After having to reschedule their engagement session because of bad weather Michelle and Andy lucked out with the most beautiful sunny evening (despite unseasonably cold temperatures!). I had so much fun wandering the Georgetown canal and waterfront with them. One of my favorites things about my clients is how easily they feel like friends and make my “job” feel like I’m hanging out with people I’ve known for years! Michelle and Andy- thank you for being so wonderful, for making my job easy…and for those delicious bagel bites (which lasted about 10 minutes after we parted ways!). I cannot WAIT for your wedding this October and the chance to capture more beautiful pictures of you two!
